Each listing must state a date of birth, the date availability was confirmed, coat details and the individual asking price. Ages must be calculated from the date of birth.
Meet the breeder
Ask about the breeder’s identity, where puppies are raised, health records and the screening process. Arrange an in-person meeting where possible.
Agree on arrangements
Review a written contract and itemized costs before paying. Discuss pickup first; consider transport only after the puppy and breeder have been confirmed.
Prices and purchase decisions
The intended asking-price range for puppy listings is $850–$1,350. Each breeder must confirm the actual individual price and explain relevant factors, including coat, documented lineage and care costs. Price or a coat pattern does not establish health or breeder quality.
