Pickup and Puppy Transport Checks
There is no blanket delivery promise to all 50 states. Availability, suitability and any transport arrangements belong to the individual breeder or rescue and must be confirmed before a commitment.
Screening before travel
Discuss suitability with the breeder first. Confirm the puppy’s identity, date of birth, relevant health documentation and contract. An in-person meeting and pickup are preferable when practical.
If transport is needed
Agree in writing on who arranges travel, the actual carrier or escort, the itinerary, required documentation, total costs and responsibility if plans change. Check the provider independently using contact details you find yourself.
Unexpected payment demands
Pause if someone demands additional crate, insurance, customs or release charges after a deposit. Verify the claimed charge and provider independently before paying. The directory does not collect transport, insurance or crate fees.
